Southwest University provides you with good medical services. When you feel unwell or have any disease, please bring your SWU student ID and passport and go to the Southwest University Hospital or the Ninth People's Hospital in Chongqing for treatment.

In urban areas there are several wellknown hospitals in Chongqing: Chongqing Medical University First Affiliated Hospital, Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, First Hospital of Chongqing, Chongqing Third People's Hospital, the Fourth People's Hospital of Chongqing, Chongqing Eighth People's Hospital, Chongqing Zhongshan Hospital, and so on. These hospitals are well integrated large hospitals. You are free to choose any of them for good treatment. 

    Note: Each longterm student is required to have the medical insurance. Therefore, when you go to a hospital for treatment, it will ensure your treatment of your chosen hospital. In order to prevent problems in claims for medical expenses. Before you go to hospital for treatment, please contact the International Students Office first. We will contact your Insurance Company as soon as possible to confirm whether your insurance covers your medical expenses to spend and whether it includes outpatient fees, otherwise, you will have to pay the medical expenses yourself first before get verification and reimbursement from the insurance company.
